Animal Jam Betas

Betas are items that were made during the beta testing days which was when Animal Jam was just starting out. Some examples of AJ betas are the basketballs and the beta hood,plus many more. A lot of jammers trade spikes and other rare items just to get a beta, but sometimes people scam your items for a fake beta. Things like the beta hood can be easily mistaken for another non beta hood which can lead to scamming and losing your best items. Its really important to know what the real betas look like in order to prevent scamming. Below are some examples of betas.

This beta tiara can easily be mistaken for a non beta tiara which can be found in the clothing shop. The one found in the clothing shop has a yellow sort of colour to the base of the tiara while this one is a pure white. The gems are both pink but the only difference between these are the colour of the bases and the time they were sold.

This is the beta hood. The non beta version of this is a more blueish colour and this one is sort of like a teal colour. This also has the green vine-looking thing on the inside of the hood as you can see in the picture. This is one of the most scammed items if you are not careful. There are major details between this and the other two non beta hoods. The other non beta hood is the same colour as this but the vine thing on the inside of the hood is like a black colour while this one is a green.

There are also beta items that are for your den like the rocking horse and the basketball. Those pictures above are just the beta clothing but remember there are a lot more betas out there.
